Parts went up, labor went up, and your flat rate book still has last year’s prices. Raise Prices lets you apply one percent increase across many flat rates at once, check every new price before it goes live, and take it back if you got it wrong.
It replaces an afternoon of opening flat rates one by one with a single screen you can finish before the first truck rolls.
Most shops raise prices once or twice a year. The hard part is not deciding the number. It is applying it to dozens or hundreds of flat rates without missing some, fat-fingering others, and having no record of what the old price was when a customer asks.
Your Pricing Schedules and the per-flat-rate increase button work the same as before.
Every run is saved with each flat rate’s old price and new price, and the name it had at the time. Open the history to see who raised what and when, download it as a CSV for your accountant, or press Undo. Undo works once per run and puts each flat rate back to its old price, skipping any whose price was changed since or that was deleted. Deleting a flat rate later does not erase its history.
Price changes are easier to make when they are easy to take back. That is the reason for the preview and the undo.
A related change shipped the same week. Team members who have permission to edit line item prices can now change a flat rate’s price on an invoice or estimate from the mobile apps too, not only service items. The parts inside the flat rate keep their price book prices, so job costing and tax stay right. In the office, the invoice and estimate pages show a small Edited from marker with the catalog price, so you can see when a price was changed. That marker never shows on PDFs, customer emails or the customer portal.
